While we learn to color pool at Occupational Therapy on Saturday (noon @yarnasylum), we don’t want to forget our girls and their dolls. That’s why we have a new, exclusive pattern for a girl’s cowl and coordinating doll’s cowl out of @plymouthyarn Toybox Collection yarn!
Just one example of a fun project using color pooling! Don’t forget that our session of Occupational Therapy this Saturday at noon (just get your supplies @yarnasylum and we’ll show you how)! For #crochet and for #knitting. More to come this week!
While Penny and Ed are recharging at the shore, the @yarnasylum minions are busy getting ready for our Occupational Therapy session on June 30th. We will be color pooling, and we have several brands and weights of yarn that can color pool, and we will cover knitting and crocheting! We also have beginning knitting classes that morning!
While Hannah and Nick House-sit, we (@mikecheathamfishing) are n our way to a fishing tournament. It’s easy to bring my hobby with me 😀 New Tunisian crochet koozie pattern (because Tunisian crochet is what would happen if crocheting and knitting had a baby LOL). We all need something to work on for summer. I’ll finish up the placemat that goes with it, and then this pattern will be for sale on the @yarnasylum web site!
Picked up my first project from Erin’s Farm yesterday, and then I added some treasures from the beach, an air fern from the Buddhist monastery, and picked a piece of driftwood that it would fit into. This really makes me happy! ( almost as happy as yarn and @yarnasylum 😀)
With @yarnasylum closed on Sunday, I treated myself to a visit to Erin’s Farm. Algar (the glass blower) is in residence this week, and we have been corresponding about some driftwood I have. He is taking the driftwood to mold fireproof casts, after which we will make molten bowls. But today, I got to be his assistant. So much fun! Linda was great, and she has some great pieces by local artisans. I pick up my new bowl tomorrow, but we have to wait a couple of months for the driftwood pieces, which will look great with yarn in them 😉
Wow! It’s hard to find the words to express how much fun WWKIP day @yarnasylum was! Yarn! Project show and tell! Massages by Miyo! Smoothies, hot dogs and Cindy’s Banana Pudding Cheesecake! Baby Harry! Prizes! Crochet lessons! Yarn bomb! FRIENDS! I am blessed 😍
